Urban Landscape

Malaga City

I have decided that I need to do more practise with Plein Air (painting in the open air) painting.  For me one of the more difficult aspects is the time.  I need to be a lot more direct and get the essentials of the scene rather than get bogged down in the detail.  This picture was done from a photograph but in a short timescale and with only a squirrel mop and size 14 round brush – which for me is quite big.

Maybe another practise before the next Plein Air session with Axarquia Art, my local art group.
